Rental Terms and Conditions

The client agrees to the following rental terms and conditions of “Focus Film Equipment Rental”.

1- The fee for all rentals will be charged as per our quote including VAT at 18%.
The client is responsible for any transport costs.

2- The rental time will be calculated from first to last day of shooting. Equipment is delivered after 14:00 the day before shooting and picked up before 12:00 the day after.
- If equipment is required to be delivered before noon or returned after noon, a complete day’s rate will be charged.
- Saturdays, Sundays and holidays will be charged for.
- If a rental is cancelled after items have been delivered, a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed rental amount will be charged.

3- The client is required to make sure that the equipment is in good condition before he receives it. If the client does not complain in writing on receiving the items, it is considered to have been delivered in perfect condition.
- During the whole rental period the client is fully liable for any damage or loss of the items and he will also be held responsible for any risks during transportation.
- The client is obliged to inform the hirer immediately about any damage to the equipment.
- The equipment has to be returned complete, sorted and in clean and perfect condition. All damaged equipment must also be returned.
- After registration the client will receive an acknowledgement from the rental house. The hirer reserves his right for a detailed check up even after registration.
In case of damage or lost parts, the client is required to pay the full value of the repair, or the article if the item cannot be repaired.

4- The hired items remain the property of the hirer. Without explicit written permission of the hirer any rehiring of equipment and attachments to a third party is not allowed.

5- On demand of the hirer the client must provide proof of adequate insurance for the hired equipment.
